道奇今天6比5擊國民，將國家聯盟首輪季後賽的戰線拉長到第5場，台北時間14日在國民主場舉行，國民隊王牌投手Max Scherzer（薛茲爾）已得到充分的休息，毫無懸念，Scherzer將在第5場先發，至於道奇要由誰先發，是Julio Urias？還是Rich Hill？道奇還沒決定。
Scherzer本季戰績20勝7敗、防禦率2.96，是國聯的勝投王，另外他投出284次三振，也是國聯的三振王，雖然他在首輪季後賽第一戰先發，對決Kershaw，先發6局失4分，吞敗投，但他畢竟是國民隊的王牌投手，擁有一定的水準。Scherzer生涯在季後賽戰績4勝4敗、防禦率3.93。
道奇隊呢？要由哪一名投手先發，總教練Dave Roberts還沒有做出決定，20歲的菜鳥投手Urias還沒在季後賽上場投球，但這麼關鍵的決戰，道奇放心交給Urias嗎？
Hill已在第2戰登板先發，但只投4.1局就失掉4分，而且Hill生涯不曾只休3天就再度登板先發，加上過去2個月Hill一直為手指的水泡所苦，因此第5戰到底要讓誰先發，道奇很傷腦筋。
